Welcome to the Magdalena On The Nile!

Luxurious sailing with the Boutique Dahabeya on the Nile from Luxor to Aswan:
Pure deceleration!

Luxury Nile Cruise Boutique Dahabeya Magdalena On The Nile:
Every Thursday our six-day Nile Cruise starts from Esna (near Luxor) to Aswan. The Magdalena On The Nile can also be chartered.

Cabins and Suites

Our suites are particularly exquisite. They are very popular with honeymooners as they are spacious and the couple can retreat to their private balcony when they feel like being together. In addition to the large king-size bed, from which you can admire the passing landscape, both suites also have a table with a stool for those who can’t stop working, as well as a chaise longue for relaxing. On the balcony, a small sofa invites you to make yourself comfortable.

We have ten cozy cabins in different colors with two single beds, one meter wide, which can easily be converted into a spacious double bed. From the bed you can see the Egyptian Nile landscape passing through the large window. A comfortable armchair and a small table give the room a feeling of cozy homeliness. Last but not least, there is a large picture in every room that was drawn by Mohamed’s children and by the children of a mutual friend for Katharina at their request. Enjoy your room with an original!

The Beige One: Cabin “Giant Sea Holly”

A strong golden beige dominates this cabin, which begins to shine particularly in the »golden hour«; the gray bathroom with its shimmering mosaic provides a beautiful contrast.

The Dark Blue One: Cabin “Gentiana”

This cabin impresses with its royal dark blue, which goes perfectly with the shimmering flowers in gold and white. The bathroom is classic in black and white.

The Dark Green One: Cabin “Rose Plantain”

Decorated in a noble royal green with a delicate pattern of brown-beige flowers, the bathroom is gray with a shimmering mosaic.

The Dark Red One: Cabin “Red Rose”

This cabin catches the eye with its beautiful dark red with an ivory floral pattern, the bathroom is beige and white.

The Golden One: Suite “Edelweiss”

This suite is decorated entirely in gold, which makes it shine, especially during the “golden hour”. The bathroom is large and decorated in gray tones. A mosaic pattern on the walls makes the bathroom shine when the sun shines in.

The Gray One: Cabin “Sweet Wodruff”

A successful combination of a light gray and gold, for those who prefer something simpler. The bathroom is beige and white.

The Light Blue One: Cabin “Forget-Me-Not”

An exquisite red makes this cabin something very special, and the gray bathroom with its shiny mosaic also goes perfectly with it.

The Medium Red One: Cabin “Peacock Tree”

An exquisite red makes this cabin something very special, and the gray bathroom with its shiny mosaic also goes perfectly with it.

The Mozart Beige One: Cabin “Daisy”

The favorite cabin of Katharina’s mother Queeny, who gave our Dahabeya its name. The fabrics are playful in a delicate beige and pastel-colored flower braids, as we know it from the baroque period. The bathroom is kept in a subtle gray and shines with its beautiful mosaic pattern, especially at sunset.

The Mozart Red One: Cabin “Daylily”

The Pink One: Cabin “Cherry Blossom”

Anyone who loves a soft pink and velvety ivory will feel very comfortable in this cabin, the bathroom is elegantly decorated in beige and white.

The Red One: Suite “Pink”

The counterpart to the Edelweiss suite in elegant red and shimmering mother-of-pearl white for guests who want something a little more subtle. The bathroom is spacious and classic in black and white.

Each room on the “Queeny Of The Nile” has individually adjustable air conditioning and 24 hour electricity – currently with a generator during the day, at night the ship benefits from a storage system charged during the day. WiFi is available throughout the ship. Unfortunately, the internet in Egypt cannot be compared to ours. Therefore, failures can occur again and again if the signal is too weak.
