The Magdalena Temple Boat is home to two beautiful balcony suites and ten luxury cabins, each created as an intimate sanctuary upon the Nile.
Our two suites, dedicated to Mary Magdalene and Isis, open onto their own private balconies overlooking the river — a quiet place to watch the Nile drift past, to greet the rising sun, or simply to sit in stillness as the landscapes of ancient Kemet unfold along the banks.
The ten luxury cabins carry the same gentle elegance found throughout the Magdalena. Their palette of warm beige, soft white, gold and delicate blush pink reflects the colors of the boat itself, creating spaces that feel luminous, peaceful and deeply feminine.
Each cabin is individually designed and equipped for comfort, with air conditioning, beautiful Egyptian cotton bed linen, a thoughtfully designed private bathroom, bedside tables, and a small table and chair creating a personal corner for reading, writing or contemplation.
Yet the rooms of the Magdalena were created to offer something beyond physical beauty and comfort.
The Women of the Magdalena
Every suite and cabin carries the name and story of a woman whose life, in one way or another, speaks to what we call the Isis–Magdalene Lineage and the Bloodline of Magdalene and Yeshua.
The two suites are dedicated to Isis and Mary Magdalene, while the ten cabins carry the names of Cleopatra, Cleopatra Selene, the Queen of Sheba, the Black Madonna, Sara-Tamar, Esclarmonde de Foix, Anne Boleyn, Elizabeth Báthory, Lady Diana and Jeanne d’Arc — each woman opening a different doorway into history, mystery and remembrance.
They lived in different lands, cultures and centuries. Some were queens, some mystics, some mothers, some rebels. Some became celebrated; others were misunderstood, condemned, silenced or transformed by the stories history chose to tell about them.
Yet beneath their very different lives runs a thread.
Each, in her own way, carried something of the feminine mysteries into the world: love, wisdom, devotion, sovereignty, courage, sensuality, intuition, compassion, truth or remembrance.
Their presence is woven into the Magdalena.
Within each room, guests can discover something of the woman for whom their cabin is named — her story, her symbols, her mysteries and the particular wisdom we feel she carries.
In this way, the cabins become more than places to sleep.
A Library of Hidden Knowledge
Together, the rooms of the Magdalena form a kind of living library.
Not a library whose knowledge exists only in books, but one made of stories, symbols, archetypes and remembrance — fragments of a feminine wisdom carried quietly through generations.
It is the knowledge once described as being kept sub rosa — “under the rose”: mysteries not proclaimed loudly to the world, but entrusted from heart to heart, revealed to those willing to listen.
Her cabins carry the presence, teachings and codes of women who, across different times and circumstances, embodied the Magdalene path through their lives — women who carried love, wisdom, devotion, courage and remembrance into the world. Their stories and their presence fill the spaces of the Magdalena, quietly accompanying and teaching those who come to stay.
Perhaps you enter one cabin knowing almost nothing about the woman whose name is upon its door. Perhaps you leave carrying one sentence from her story, one symbol, one question, or one piece of yourself that she helped you remember.
And perhaps this is how ancient wisdom has always travelled:
from woman to woman,
from story to story,
from heart to heart.
